Hmm, reminds me of this Billy Collins poem, "Building With Its Face Blown Off". This is surreal, almost like it's from post-war Sarajevo, really a great shot.

I wish I could find stuff like this to photograph, but I'm the suburbs of Chicago, and everything is a bit... gentrified.

You know, it looks like a really nice place, and I wrote a novella about a woman from Istanbul a few months ago. Maybe sometime, if I get a chance to vacation - it's certainly on my list of places to see.
